//ABOUT

photographer cardiff

Hiya.  I’m Julia and I’m a documentary portrait photographer based in Cardiff and South Wales.

I specialise in family, portrait, documentary and lifestyle photography. My work covers newborn photography, family photography, maternity/pregnancy photography and much more.

My style and approach is natural, relaxed, honest and creative and I aim to capture the true spirit and personalities of you and your loved ones.

I’ve been in love with photography from a young age. Photography helps me to express how I feel about the everyday and lets me capture the things I become increasingly in awe of – and then keep that image, forever.

My passion for photography stems from my interest in visual, natural art, from natural light filling a room to the way a mother looks at her baby.  The small details inspire and excite me – things you may have thought are everyday and boring.

I love how different each person I capture is. Each session is different, each family is unique.

I’m passionate about capturing moments, experiences and interactions for others to cherish forever. I want to create a set of images that you can look back on for years to come and that will evoke emotions and memories to last a lifetime.

Photographing people allows me to share and tell stories, laugh with you, and be part of your memory making, whilst meeting new and amazingly interesting people along the way.  //

I LOVE

All sessions are shot in natural light and familiar locations such as your home or your favourite park. No studio setups, backdrops or props – just you being you.

I’d love to hear from you to discuss any Portrait photography Cardiff and the South West. I specialise in Maternity/Pregnancy Photography, Family portrait photography, Baby photography, Commercial photography and music and wedding videography.  //
